Coverage is available in most of the campground. But wireless is a "best effort" type service and It might not work perfectly for you. Your speed will depend on your signal strength.
The basic network is not secure or encrypted, however once you connect, your web browser will go into secure mode when you are accessing a secure site. Look for a green indicator, a locked padlock icon or the "https" at the web address.
